Children are generally admitted on a first come first served basis, depending upon the availability of the days required and maintaining a basic number of full time attendees and balance (where possible) of boys and girls. Priority is given to siblings of attending children, those requiring a full time place and children ‘in need’ (as stated in the Children Act).

We are happy to accept part time attendees, but do not have single day places available, nor do we run separate morning and afternoon sessions.

We are pleased to accept children with special needs and ensure that we take steps to adapt all aspects of our provision to include them.  We work with outside agencies to support children and to aid their development.

We endeavour to ensure that our nursery children and staff are representative of the local population, having a mixture of children from different economic and cultural backgrounds, with various particular needs and a relatively even mix of sexes.
